1. Booking and Deposit

• A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit will be deducted from your final invoice.

• Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

• If the deposit is not received within 10 days, the date may be made available to other clients.

2. Payment

• The remaining balance is due the week prior to the event date. Failure to pay the remaining balance on time may result in the cancellation of services.

• Payments can be made via direct transfer or debit/credit card. (Card payments incur 2.49% convenience fee).

3. Cancellations and Refunds

• The 30% deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellations or date changes.

• Cancellations made one month before the event date will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking cost.

• Cancellations made less than one week before the event date will require full payment of the remaining balance.

4. Travel and Accommodation Costs

• Travel costs apply to bookings listed on our services page. The rate is as follows: mileage cost:  0.95c x 1km & travel time: $30 x 1 hour. This will be calculated and added to your final invoice.

• Accommodation costs may apply for bookings. The organiser will be informed of these costs at the time of booking.

5. Price Changes

• All prices are subject to change. However, once your booking is confirmed with a deposit, the price agreed upon at that time will be honoured for your event.

6. Liability

• While every effort is made to ensure a safe and hygienic environment, the makeup artist is not responsible for any allergic reactions, skin sensitivities, or any other health-related issues arising from the use of products or services provided.

• It is the client’s responsibility to inform the makeup artist of any known allergies, sensitivities, or concerns before the application.

7. Timing and Punctuality

• Please ensure that all clients are punctual and available at the agreed-upon time and location. Delays may affect the quality and completion of the services provided.

• The makeup artist reserves the right to refuse service if the client or members of the party are significantly late, and no refund will be provided in such cases.

8. Photography and Media

• The makeup artist reserves the right to take and use photographs of the work completed for promotional purposes, including on social media and the artist’s website. If you prefer not to have your images used, please inform the artist at the time of booking.

9. Additional Services

• Any additional services requested on the day of the event, which were not previously booked, will be subject to availability and may incur extra charges.

10. Amendments

• The makeup artist reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
